Stages

  • Beginner Adult Swimming Lessons are perfect if you’ve never learned to swim or if you feel nervous in the water.

I understand that starting as an adult can feel intimidating, so lessons are relaxed and supportive. We’ll take things step by step helping you get comfortable in the pool, learn how to breathe properly, float with confidence, and move through the water safely.

Everything is taught at your pace, with patience and encouragement throughout.

The goal isn’t just to swim it’s to help you feel calm, capable, and confident in the water while also practicing new skills along the way.

  • Improver Adult Swimming Lessons are for adults who can already swim a little but don’t quite feel confident yet.

You might be able to swim 5–25 metres, put your face in the water, and float without aids, but things still feel a bit rushed or tiring.

At this stage, I will help you build on what you can already do and focus on improving your technique. We will work on stronger, more efficient leg kicks and developing proper arm movements so your full stroke starts to feel smoother and more controlled. While also practicing new skills along the way.

  • Develop is a new stage that was made by RMH Swimming it is the next step up from Improver.

It’s for adults who are starting to feel more comfortable in the water and are working towards swimming a full length or two.

We will still work on stronger, more efficient leg kicks and developing proper arm movements so your full stroke starts to feel smoother and more controlled.

However, We’ll work on building stamina gradually, helping you swim a little further each week without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Helping to get you ready for the Intermediate stage.

You will be going from “I can swim” to “I can swim confidently.”

  • Intermediate lessons are for adults who can swim confidently for multiple lengths and want to take their skills further.

You’ll practise more challenging skills, build stamina to swim longer distances, and develop better coordination and breathing for different strokes.

My focus is on helping you feel strong, capable, and confident in the water, whether you want to swim for fitness, personal challenge, or safety.
